History

Enerflex AustralAsia was incorporated in June 2005 to hold the Australian and Southeast Asian assets of the Enerflex Group including:

• Enerflex Process & Enerflex Environmental (collectively the former HPS Group);
• Gas Drive Systems

Origins

The former HPS Group was originally founded in Western Australia in 1988. Over the years, the company expanded and continuously reinvented itself to service a wide range of industries inclusive of the Oil and Gas, Processing, Mining, Infrastructure and Manufacturing industries.

In July 2005, HPS Group was acquired by the Enerflex Group and today remains an Australian operated company both working in and supporting the local community, whilst maintaining clients throughout Australia and Southeast Asia.

Since inception, HPS Group has achieved several accomplishments including:-

• Successful completion of over 7,000 projects
• Listed in the Year 2000, 2001 and 2002 ‘Top 500 Private Australian Companies’
• IFAP Gold Safe Way Achiever Award – 2002
• ‘Business of the Year’ award – Brisbane 2001

Gas Drive Systems (GDS) origins date back to 1995 and this Company has remained a major provider of after sales support and service for gas compression, power generation and co-generation equipment within Australia, the South Pacific and Southeast Asia. Since inception, GDS has developed a branch presence in Sydney, Perth, Moomba (SA), Roma (Qld), and Jakarta allowing it to deliver its expertise where and when it’s needed.
