Enerflex's Mobile Inert Gas Units generate a pressurized inert gas stream for use in your primary or secondary hydrocarbon recovery programs. Enerflex's inert gas technology uses the hydrocarbon-combustion reaction that takes place inside the compressor engine to remove oxygen and produce a pressurized exhaust-gas stream. The purified engine exhaust is comprised of the inert gases nitrogen and carbon dioxide - two of the most common gases used for reservoir stimulation. The additional advantage of the process is that the same engine that generates the inert gas also compresses the inert gas for injection into the reservoir.
Enerflex's Mobile Inert Gas Units require a natural gas or propane fuel source. Each unit is designed to produce 1 mmcf/d of inert gas for reservoir injection per 0.125 mmcf/d of natural gas fuel consumed. The portable nature of the units make them ideal for a variety of enhanced hydrocarbon recovery applications involving conventional oil, heavy oil and natural gas reservoirs.
This is another example of Enerflex's insight and experience driving product innovation to improve your reserves recovery.
