We deliver concept-to-commissioning of emissions intensity reduction systems, with ongoing optimization and data verification to ensure that each facility achieves maximum CO2e reductions.
Enerflex's Integrated Solutions team will reduce your operations' emissions intensity in the following ways:
- Eliminate/Minimize Fugitive Emissions. The entire industry is looking for ways to reduce venting and fugitive emissions. Enerflex's engineers and technicians will provide recommendations on how to reduce your fugitive emissions using the latest technologies.
- Capture and Re-insert Waste/Vent Gas (Methane). Enerflex's GHG technologies capture and re-insert waste or vent gases (predominantely methane) into your engine's fuel stream. Vent gases are typically used for operating the compressor package's instrumentation, but they can be used much more efficiently as fuel. In some cases, captured vent gas can provide up to 5 percent of your engine's fuel consumption. Capturing and re-inserting methane also generates significant carbon-offset credits. The carbon-offset credits created by this process are classified as higher-valued "static" credits vs. "dynamic" credits because they are generated regardless of the load on your engine or compressor. Enerflex's GHG technologies can also re-insert waste gases, such as bio-gas or other gases, that may be readily accessible to a specific compressor. - Improve Process Efficiency. Enerflex's Integrated Solutions go beyond your engine's performance. Our Mechanical Services team seeks ways to improve your unit's operating efficiency on and off your compressor skid. Enerflex can employ many process efficiencies such as capturing waste heat to generate power and right-sizing your compressor's capacity to field conditions for peak performance. Enerflex's technical experts also have the capability to remotely monitor your facility's processing activity to pro-actively identify ways to optimize its operating parameters and thereby lower your emissions intensity.
